Multi sport school tours are what we do most. One school arrived with rugby, basketball, hockey and handball. Another brought rugby, hockey and volleyball, 76 people in all.
We plan it so the whole school moves together. Where we can, every team plays the same host school on the same day, so the match day belongs to everyone, and it finishes with presentations and time with the hosts.
Boys and girls are accommodated separately and travel on their own coaches. Coaches coach, teachers stay in charge of their students, and Geoff and Cole run the tour on the ground.
Canada is a strong choice for a New Zealand school that wants something different from the usual trip across the Tasman. In British Columbia, rugby and field hockey are part of school life, and Vancouver gives a touring party mountains, coast and city in one place.
We have people on the ground in Canada and tour plans for rugby and hockey that we shape around your team's level and your term dates.
It works the other way too. If you are a Canadian school thinking about New Zealand, we would love to talk.
Multisport in Canada is one of our
school multisport tours.
The same tour runs for clubs and rep teams, and the multisport page lists every country we take it to.
Multi Sport School Tours in Canada
10 to 21 days
Multi sport school tours to Canada. A school that wants to take rugby, hockey and more to the same place could do a lot worse than British Columbia, where school sport is strong across the codes and Vancouver makes an easy base.
Multi sport tours are what we do most, and Canada is where we have people on the ground and rugby and hockey plans ready. Adding other teams is a conversation about what you play and when you can travel.
When to go: the Canadian school calendar splits the codes. Rugby is played in spring, and hockey and volleyball in the autumn, so April suits a party led by rugby and late September suits hockey and volleyball.
