Privacy Policy
Brock Sports Travel Limited (Brock Sports, we, us) is based in New Plymouth, New Zealand. This page explains what personal information we collect through brocksports.co.nz, what we do with it and the choices you have. We handle personal information under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
Last updated 13 October 2026. If this policy changes, the date here changes with it.
What we collect
What you give us. When you ask for a quote, contact us, request a sample itinerary or register your interest as a player, we keep what you type into the form: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, country, the school, club or organisation you belong to, and what you are looking for. The player registration form also asks for your position, playing level, year of birth and preferred season, and records the time you ticked the consent box.
What your browser sends. Like most websites we receive technical information with every visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you open and the link or QR code that brought you here. Cloudflare sits in front of the site to keep it fast and safe and sees the same information.
We do not take payment card details through this website, and we do not ask for health information in our forms. If you choose to tell us about an injury in a message, we only use it to plan safely with you.
How we use it
- To reply to you and plan what you asked about: a tour, coaching, or a season with a club.
- To match a player with a suitable club and prepare their season. We share only what the club needs to decide and to welcome the player.
- To send the emails you expect from us: a confirmation when you submit a form, then the conversation that follows. We do not send newsletters or marketing emails from this website.
- To keep the site working and secure, including spam protection, rate limiting and error monitoring.
- To understand how the site is used, through the analytics described under Cookies.
Who sees it. Our team in New Zealand and, where it is relevant to your enquiry, our representatives in the countries we work in and the host clubs and schools we arrange things with. The companies that run our email delivery, hosting, security and error monitoring process information on our behalf and only to provide those services. Some of them are outside New Zealand; we choose providers that protect personal information to a standard comparable to New Zealand law.
How long we keep it. For as long as we are working with you and for a reasonable time afterwards, so we can pick the conversation up again. You can ask us to delete your details at any time, and we will, unless we have to keep something for a legal reason.
Cookies
The site sets one essential cookie: a session cookie that lets forms work and lets our team sign in to the admin area. It expires when you close your browser.
We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are read and where visitors come from. Google sets cookies for this. If we run advertising with Meta, a Meta Pixel may also be present on the site. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with a content blocker, and the site keeps working.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. A parent or guardian can do this for a player under 18. Write to info@brocksports.co.nz and we will reply within 20 working days, the time the Act allows. You can also ask us to delete your details or to stop contacting you.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first and we will put it right. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
