BROCK SPORTS

Questions, answered

Planning and timelines

How far ahead should we plan?

For schools, 12 to 24 months gives the best fixture and venue options. We can move faster when needed.

How does the planning process work?

Seven clear steps: get in touch, a discovery call with Geoff or Cole, a tailored proposal and honest price, confirm and deposit, pre tour planning with kit lists and parent packs, on tour delivery with our team on the ground, and a post tour debrief with photos and video.

Cost and what is included

How much does a tour cost?

Every tour is quoted individually because every tour is built around your team — sport, level, dates and budget. Tell us what a great trip looks like and we will come back with an honest price and a first draft itinerary.

What is included in the price?

Every quote sets it out plainly, but a typical tour covers fixtures, training, accommodation, transport and the day to day on the ground, with a Brock Sports leader alongside your group throughout.

Safety and insurance

How do you keep players safe on tour?

Safety is the first thing we plan. Full insurance cover, clear duty of care with supervision and child protection, a plan for every day, and a Brock Sports leader on the ground with your group.

What happens if a player gets sick or hurt?

Every tour carries full insurance cover and a clear incident response plan. Our leader on the ground manages care straight away and keeps you and parents informed at every step.

Fixtures and level

How are fixtures matched?

Tell us where your team sits and we match opposition that stretches them and builds confidence, never a mismatch.

Customising your tour

Can we customise our itinerary?

Yes — no two tours are the same. Every Brock Sports tour starts with your team, your sport and your goals, and we build it with you, fixture by fixture.

For parents

Can we bring supporters?

Yes. Families and supporters regularly travel alongside our teams, and we plan accommodation and match days so they are part of the experience.

How will parents be kept informed?

Before departure every family receives a parent pack, and on tour our leader on the ground keeps communication flowing, so you always know how the trip is going.

Outbound tours

Do you organise overseas tours for New Zealand teams?

Yes. Taking a New Zealand team overseas is a big job, and we handle fixtures, travel, accommodation and the day to day, with a Brock Sports leader on the ground throughout.

Resource Coaches

What is a Resource Coach?

A New Zealand coach who embeds in your programme for a defined block, from a two week residency to a full season, built around your goals. Many Resource Coach programmes lead naturally to a tour to New Zealand.

For schools

Can you work around term dates and exams?

Yes — that is the starting point. We shape the tour to your term calendar, exam blocks and season windows, and planning 12 to 24 months out gives the most choice of fixtures and venues.

How do you keep parents informed and onside?

Parent packs before departure set out the itinerary, kit lists and contacts, every parent question gets a straight answer before you fly, and our leader on the ground keeps you and parents informed at every step of the tour.

Who looks after our students on tour?

Your staff stay in charge of your students, and a Brock Sports leader travels alongside your group every day — with full insurance cover, clear supervision and child protection woven into the plan.

Can we bring more than one team or code?

Absolutely — many school groups tour with several teams at once. Our multisport tours weave fixtures and training for two or more sports into a single itinerary, so the whole group travels together.

What does a tour cost for a school group?

Every tour is quoted individually because every tour is built around your school — sport, level, dates and budget. Tell us what a great trip looks like and we will come back with an honest price and a first draft itinerary.

For clubs and teams

How do you match fixtures to our club's level?

Tell us where your side sits and we match opposition that stretches them and builds confidence, never a mismatch. Competitive fixtures are the backbone of every club tour we run.

Can a tour fit around our season?

Yes — tours run 10 to 21 days and we build them around your season window, pre-season or end-of-season. Tell us your dates and we will shape the itinerary to them.

What is a club tour like off the field?

This is where club tours shine: billets with local club families, shared meals and packed clubrooms, plus the training sessions and cultural experiences that turn a trip into a story your players tell for years.

Do you run tours for senior and adult teams?

Yes — we build tours for schools, universities, clubs and rep teams. If your group travels as a team, we can build a tour around it.

Who handles the logistics while we focus on the games?

We do. Fixtures, training, accommodation, transport and the day to day on the ground are all handled, with a Brock Sports leader alongside your group throughout — you coach, we run the tour.
