Multisport Tours

Several sports, boys and girls, one tour. It is what we do most.

One trip, every team

Why tour with your multisport squad

Multi sport school tours are what we do most. One school arrived with rugby, basketball, hockey and handball. Another brought rugby, hockey and volleyball, 76 people in all. We plan it so the whole school moves together. Where we can, every team plays the same host school on the same day, so the match day belongs to everyone, and it finishes with presentations and time with the hosts. Boys and girls are accommodated separately and travel on their own coaches. Coaches coach, teachers stay in charge of their students, and Geoff and Cole run the tour on the ground.

Opposition and level

Competition that fits your squad

Every multisport tour is built around competitive fixtures against local sides, matched to where your team sits. Opposition that stretches without mismatching, and training that sticks.

First match day, with each team playing a Hawke's Bay school and a shared lunch with the hosts.

  3. Wellington 5 to 7

Second match day, with every code against the same school if we can, then Te Papa and the city.

  4. Taranaki 8 to 9

A welcome from the host school, games across the codes and a function together that night.

Where you can tour

8 destinations offer multisport tours.

New Zealand

This is home. We meet your team at the airport and one of us is with you through Rotorua, Hawke's Bay, Wellington, Taranaki and Auckland, with games against schools and clubs we know.

Argentina

The country we know best after our own. Most of the teams we host in New Zealand come from Buenos Aires, so this is where our closest friendships are.

View Multisport tour

United States

School and college sport on a scale you have to see. A newer destination for us, planned from scratch around each team.

Canada

British Columbia, where school rugby and hockey matter and the mountains run down to the sea. We have people on the ground and tours ready to shape.

View Multisport tour

Australia

School sports tours to Australia: a short flight and a proper test, with games up the east coast from Sydney to Brisbane. Works for a first trip away.

Chile

Over the Andes from Argentina. We plan Chile as part of a two country South American tour, with Santiago between the mountains and the sea.

Uruguay

A ferry ride from Buenos Aires. Montevideo adds a second country, a second style of opposition and a slower pace to an Argentine tour.

South Africa

One of the great school sport countries. We do not run a fixed programme here, so every South African tour starts with a conversation.

Questions, answered

How are fixtures matched?

Tell us where your team sits and we match opposition that stretches them and builds confidence, never a mismatch.

Can we customise our itinerary?

Yes — no two tours are the same. Every Brock Sports tour starts with your team, your sport and your goals, and we build it with you, fixture by fixture.

When are our games confirmed?

Game times and venues are confirmed with the host schools and clubs at least three weeks before you leave, and the final sports schedule is issued at least two weeks out. Hosts can still need to move things, and we manage that for you.

What happens if the weather turns?

We adjust the day and offer a suitable alternative wherever we can. It is New Zealand, so we plan with the weather in mind.

Do you run multi sport school tours?

Yes, it is the tour we run most. Recent school groups have travelled with rugby, hockey and volleyball teams together, and with rugby, basketball, hockey and handball. Boys and girls teams tour as one party and play on the same days where we can.

Where is the best place for a school netball tour?

Australia and New Zealand have the deepest school and club netball in the world, and they are the tours we would plan first. South Africa is the other great netball country, and a tour there starts with a conversation. Netball is a newer code for us, so we will tell you plainly what we can line up for your grade.
