Uruguay
A ferry ride from Buenos Aires. Montevideo adds a second country, a second style of opposition and a slower pace to an Argentine tour.

Why Uruguay
Uruguay is a ferry crossing from Buenos Aires over the Río de la Plata, which makes it a natural second country on an Argentine tour. We build Montevideo in as a two or three day leg: a game against local opposition, the old town and the port market, and a walk along the Rambla before the ferry back. It suits teams that want more than one stamp in the passport without adding long travel days.
How a Uruguay tour flows
Indicative only: the real thing is built around your team, and the full day-by-day detail is shared once we are planning together.
-
Buenos Aires 1 to 4
Arrive, a city tour through La Boca and Recoleta, training, the first game and a day on an estancia.
-
Montevideo 5 to 6
Ferry across the river. The old town and port market, then game two and the Rambla.
-
Mar del Plata 7 to 9
Back over the river and south to the coast for game three and a day by the sea.
-
Buenos Aires 10 to 14
Game four, a free day, a farewell dinner and the flight home.

What teams say about Uruguay
Questions, answered
How far ahead should we plan?
For schools, 12 to 24 months gives the best fixture and venue options. We can move faster when needed.
How much does a tour cost?
Every tour is quoted individually because every tour is built around your team — sport, level, dates and budget. Tell us what a great trip looks like and we will come back with an honest price and a first draft itinerary.
How does the planning process work?
It starts with a conversation with Geoff or Cole, usually on a video call, about your team, your sport and your dates. We come back with a proposal and an honest price. Once you confirm, we lock in games, accommodation and transport. Match details are confirmed with the host schools and clubs at least three weeks before you leave, and you get the final sports schedule at least two weeks out.
What is included in the price?
Every quote sets it out plainly. A typical tour covers games, training, accommodation, transport, breakfasts and dinners, and the cultural and sightseeing programme. Lunches and personal travel insurance are usually separate, and we will spell out anything else that is.
How long is a tour?
Anything from 7 to 21 days. Two weeks is the most common, which leaves time for four games and a proper look at the country.
How big can our group be?
We host groups of 20 to 100. Larger parties usually travel as a boys group and a girls group on their own coaches.
