School and club rugby tours, in the game we know best. We have hosted club and school sides from Buenos Aires through the North Island, including a pre season tour for three teams from one club, a touring party of 100.
A rugby tour with us means well matched games, training on good grounds and time with the host team afterwards. Touring sides have had sessions with current Super Rugby coaches, and when the draw allows we get your players to a Super Rugby match.
Going the other way, we plan tours for New Zealand sides to Argentina, Australia and beyond.
Japanese teams prepare with a discipline and work rate that visiting players talk about long after they get home, and they host with the same care. A tour here is as much about how the game is prepared as how it is played.
From New Zealand, Japan is a direct flight of about eleven hours and only three or four hours behind us, so a school team lands ready to play. School sport there runs through after school clubs that train most days of the year. Rugby has boomed since the 2019 World Cup, football has a national high school championship that fills stadiums, and basketball has grown quickly since Japan helped host the 2023 World Cup.
We have people on the ground in both Japan and New Zealand, and we are building this destination through them, one relationship at a time. That means we take on only what we know we can deliver well.
If Japan is on your list, talk to us early and we will tell you honestly what is possible for your group.
Rugby Tours in Japan
By arrangement
School and club rugby tours to Japan. Japan hosted the Rugby World Cup in 2019 and the game has not looked back. School rugby is serious, with a national high school tournament every winter, and teams train with a discipline visiting players remember.
We are building Japan in person, with people on the ground in both countries. That means we take on what we know we can deliver. If your side wants Japan, talk to us early.
When to go: the Japanese school year starts in April and summers are hot and humid, so spring and autumn are the months we would point a touring side to.
